    Tian Griffith

Tian is the owner of LoveGood Canines. She is also a UNC Asheville college student, avid dog sport competitor, and service dog handler.

Tian's lifelong passion for dogs began in childhood and naturally evolved into a deep interest in canine behavior and training. Her journey started at the age of 10 when she began teaching the family dog basic tricks. In 2017, after welcoming her own dog into her life, she studied all aspects of puppy raising and dog training. Through a combination of self-education, professional mentorship, hands-on experience, and employment in various dog-related roles, Tian has developed a strong and diverse understanding of the dog world. She is certified in pet first aid and CPR as well.

Tian believes that every dog deserves respect and should be recognized as a unique individual. She acknowledges that dogs learn and behave very differently from each other. Her training approach incorporates all four quadrants of operant conditioning, but heavily relies on positive reinforcement the most. She places strong emphasis on clear communication and fostering a deeper bond between dogs and their owners.
